Our Far-Flung Alumni: Donald White

Today it is a Cleveland that is honoring distinguished African-Americans during Black History month.  The Plain Dealer remembers Donald White, who grew up in Richmond and attended Earlham for a year.  He became the first Black member of the celebrated Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, and played cello in that ensemble for 39 years.
