Exit Matters

May 23, 2011

The days are counting down now: I’m now a month and a week away from stepping out of the presidency here.

On Sunday, the local paper, the Richmond Palladium-Item, published a long article about Ellen and me, our time at Earlham and our plans ahead.  Today, the Earlham website has a podcast of an exit interview I did with Mark Brim.

I have one more Board of Trustees meeting, and the Board Book for that went into the mail just before the weekend.

I think this is the forty-third such Board Book for which I’ve overseen preparation:  three a year for fourteen years, minus one for a sabbatical plus two others for special Board retreats.

I’m also working my way through files and other accumulated materials, trying to leave things in some semblance of order.
