The Observatory is written by Douglas C. Bennett, Emeritus President and Professor of Politics at Earlham College. He writes and speaks frequently about issues of access, assessment and accountability, seeing these as shared professional responsibilities of everyone who works in and around higher education.
Earlham’s “old observatory” building, the first collegiate observatory in Indiana, is the oldest structure on campus.
